Holiday Afterglow

Holiday stuff showing up too soon bothers me, like Christmas nail polish in stores before Halloween, but I rather enjoy holiday decor hanging around after its big day. (To a point; overlapping the next holiday is just as bad as arriving before a previous one.) Which is a long way of saying I’ll be spending this week (and next as well, perhaps) enjoying the Christmas lights that are still on display, both in public and in my own home. (And doing so with Mr. Karen and the sock monkeys, as all of us are once again together after our Friday/Saturday detour.)
