Monday, November 28: Snowy day on the mountain. This is me in the locker room after being out on the slopes for the afternoon. Mr. K and I are the only ones I’ve seen wearing masks in the lodges this season.
Tuesday, November 29: Went into town to spend some time in my studio. Stopped by the grocery store, too, and found the big bread baking machine was back. This is at least the third time it’s been there, with mysterious disappearances in between. I’ve only bought one loaf; it was fine but not so good I’ll seek it out (this store is not our regular store).
Wednesday, November 30: Over a foot of snow in the latest storm.
Thursday, December 1: Typical end of the day in the locked room. Yes, I did sew up a hole in my ski sock to get a little more wear out of them.
Friday, December 2: Washed all the towels we brought back from Joan’s storage unit. Some we’ll keep to use as towels. Some will become rags. Some we’ll give away. Other family members have similar stacks to deal with.
Saturday, December 3: Looks like a snowshoe hare came right up to our back window then hopped away in the night.
Sunday, December 4: Walking home from the village near dusk. Always a treat to see such a clear view of the Cabinet Mountains.

Those towels look so spring compared to the winter outside. You have an amazing view. I’d never leave the deck!
