A Week-ish in Photos: 2023, Part 44

November 10, 2023

Tuesday, October 31: Saw snowshoe hare tracks in the snow out the back window.

Snow on a sunny day with three shadowy paw print impressions: two large paws side by side and two small paws together in the same space.

Wednesday, November 1: Lots of construction projects scrambling to get things buttoned up before real winter arrives. This dude was just driving up our street in his boom lift, as one does.

View out a large window. There is a porch railing in the foreground. On the blacktop street beyond that, a man is standing on the platform of a lowered boom lift, driving it up the road.

Thursday, November 2: More snow. I liked the pattern it made as it melted and started to slide off the roof of the house across the street.

Warm brown house with a dark green metal roof. The snow on the roof melted in horizontal lines and has started to slide down in a scalloped pattern.

Friday, November 3: Stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few things. Had a chuckle at this product that was being clearanced: hydrating water!

Light grey shopping cart filled with plastic bottles. Bright yellow sign taped to the handle reads: Lemon Perfect Hydrating Water 1.00

Saturday, November 4: Went to Spokane to see friends. Took no photos with or of the friends that night, just this one of me halfway through doing my makeup which I sent in response to a text I got while I was getting ready. I am tempted to pick apart how I look here but am going to refrain.

Me, a sixty something white woman with mostly white hair (the blue at the ends is not visible). I'm wearing an old rose v-neck top. I am wearing concealer, foundation, and eyebrow color, but my lips and eyes are bare.

Sunday, November 5: Went for a walk around the neighborhood with Mr. Karen. Snapped this shot of some withered wildflowers along the side of the road. It almost looks like I shot in black and white but no, this is just how the landscape looks at this time of year.

Close up of plants with small withered white flowers and grey branches.
