Happy Holidailies

December 1, 2024

The calendar reminder I set myself last year worked: I went looking for Holidailies sign up before December started, so here I am ready to go on the first day. Apparently Holidailies is 25 years old this year, which seems both impossible and very cool. I didn’t participate for the first two years as I hadn’t yet started my online journal, but have written at least some entries in all the other years, first at Diary-X (oh, those were the days) and now here at my own space. I start this year’s effort not sure how much I’ll be able to/will feel like participating what with some other plans I’ve made for the month that will take me away from my usual routine (not that I have as much of a routine in retirement as I did when I was working, and sometimes that’s hard for me but I’m coping, always coping).

So welcome back, Holidailies readers, and thank you other folks who peek in on me year ’round.
