State of the Happy Color

I just got done re-ordering my Happy Color In Progress tab, and it’s more organized than it’s been since I last posted about it. I’d created a couple small groups of pictures in the intervening weeks that really belonged in existing groups of pictures, but I didn’t want to take the time to redo the whole list while I was working on completing the Christmas and New Year’s pictures (there is no drag and drop feature, each photo has to be opened to bring it to the top of the list and woe is me if I accidentally click on one I didn’t mean to). Earlier this week, I caught up with the daily and mystery pictures from December that I’d put off while I doing the holiday stuff, and this morning I completed the December pictures of the week and month along with that quartet of seasonal cat in a window pictures that had been hanging around a while, so it seemed a good time to get the remaining stuff organized.
My newly fixed up queue looks like this:
1) Pic of the week for first week in January.
2) Birthday, with four new ones added from the bonuses that I’d just been waiting for the right time to incorporate.
3) Squirrels, Non-Autumn (this was one where I had to combine the existing group with a smaller new group I’d created as I’d found several more while looking through the animals category for images to match to dailies).
4) Easter/spring/bunny/sheep, now with a couple of cows too because why not. Also added more bunnies.
5) Other holidays that I’ll do when they roll around again. This was just Thanksgiving the last time I reorganized, but now it’s got leftover Christmas (I had to just decide to cut things off as just when I thought I had them all incorporated into my big holiday category, more would show up, days after Christmas. It’s bad enough that some of the Christmas pics were pics of the week, too, as that messes up my system) and other holidays I’ve come across that didn’t get done for one reason or another.
6) Winter pictures from across many categories. I’m still finding these, so probably will have to reorganize these soon to bring the new ones into the flow.
Soon, I’ll add another group for the dailies and mysteries from the week we’re in now, and maybe one for bonus mandalas because those tend to get buried if I don’t pull them out every so often, more so than other types of pictures. Or maybe I’ll wait on the mandalas until after I get done with the winter pictures, because there are a lot of those making In Progress tab rather long already.
