A Week in Photos: 2025, Part 10

March 20, 2025

Monday, March 3: Decided to treat ourselves to a fancy dinner complete with cocktails in the village (this restaurant used to be the fanciest on the mountain but now the newer one has taken that crown) for no particular reason other than it had been a long while since we did that.

Two cocktails sitting on a dark wood restaurant table. The glass in front is short with a wider rim than base; the rim is sugared, there is a lemon wedge on it, and the liquid is pale yellow. The glass in back is tall and narrow, with a green plastic straw in it, an orange slice on the rim and a cherry in the glass; the liquid is milky white with a float of brandy brown on top.

Tuesday, March 4: I am still very much into wearing press on nails. Tried a new type that came in a box with five sets like this, with all the sizes attached to a single spine. These weren’t called press ons, but rather “Pre-Lasting Gel Tips” with “Internal Matte Texture”. They came with directions about gluing them on and then adding a gel topcoat to be cured over that, but I ignored that and used the same double-sided adhesive tabs as I do with press ons that don’t come pre-glued. That worked fine.

My hand holding a plastic spine with 40 nails in graduated sizes attached to it. The plastic is a shimmery olive green.

Wednesday, March 5: Went down to the city for a class and caught this pretty sky just before going inside.

Skyline after sunset with water tower, trees, and houses silhouetted against the sky.

Thursday, March 6: An Indian restaurant opened up in town so we went to check it out. Should have given them a couple of weeks to get settled in, as it was crowded and rather chaotic and took a long time to get our food. Glad to see so many people came out to try It, though.

Friday, March 7: Feeling under the weather so self-medicated with lemon and honey in my tea, which I usually take unaltered.

Coffee mug with Minne Mouse design sitting on a soft yellow countertop with a lemon wedge in front of it and a jar of honey beside it.

Saturday, March 8: Doing some gentle stretching as part of my self-care. The socks are intentionally mismatched (they came in a pair like this).

Looking down at my feet posed sole to sole. One foot has a plain black short anklet; the other has a grey, black, and bright checkerboard one.

Sunday, March 9: Not feeling well enough to ski, but I did work on some winter sports pictures in the Happy Color app.
